Requirements analysis
Often, customer needs are not already specified in enough detail to provide a fixed quote, and
even more often, customers recognize we can provide an invaluable service in the early stages
of the project. By leveraging our skills in analyzing business problems to provide one or more
solutions, our customers often save a great deal of time and expense. We can either work with
technical specifications provided to us, or work with you to create clear and concise
requirements and a technical specifications document. |
Technical specifications
Before any project is started, a Technical Spec is developed and
agreed upon by KeyNet and our customer. This includes enough detail to provide our customer
with a clear understanding of what will be delivered, and provides KeyNet with enough
information to produce a project plan and start development. |
Project quote
Once the Technical Spec is produced and agreed upon, a quote is
provided to the customer that outlines all costs associated with the project, and includes the
project schedules.
It is always possible to get a "ball-park" quote for a project that is only loosely specified.
At KeyNet, we recognize that this will be a range and really only a guess. The accuracy of this
"guess" is directly related to the level of specificity provided. We solve this potential
dilemma by providing concise project milestones and "fixed-fee" project quotations for most
projects. |
Project plan
Once a project has been approved, KeyNet creates a project plan,
outlining all milestones and final delivery timeline. This plan becomes the customer's and
KeyNet's joint working-document for getting the project done on-time and within the project
budget. |
